Solve is a great believer in standards and where possible it is good practice to use HR templates as a starter to provide consistency and ensure nothing is missed.
To get you started we have uploaded our current templates to give you an example of what should be included in standard HR templates and forms, however it is strongly recommended that these are customised to your own requirements capturing the specifics of an employee’s case, discussions or events.
Remember that HR templates should also be reviewed regularly as legislation is constantly changing and that has left many companies exposed to potential problems without them being aware of any issues. Our tip would be to add a ‘template review’ reminder to your diary every 6 months.
Good examples of recent changes include, minimum wage, pensions, working hours directive, employment status, changes in maternity and paternity leave and pay, gender pay and apprenticeship’s.
